CLAW is an oniric journey into the bizarre and perverse imaginarium of Polish artist Aleksandra Waliszewska, inspired by her paintings and designs. In this gloomy universe we meet little girls and young women whose bodies are transformed into animals or other creatures. They are pictured as wild predacious beasts, in the same time being extremely fragile. Exploring the sexuality and connection with nature, they bring out traumas and tabus. They seduce, play with the imagination of the audience in an extremely ambiguous way.
What is suppressed under the superficial image of decent and polite young women? What causes this suppression in society? And how do we experience our connection to nature, calling out our inner beasts?
